As a media student, so I have a strong interest in photography. I snap pictures of lovely things, people, places and occasions as soon as I come across them. I'm incredibly fond of it. These are the photos I took that will always stand out. 

        1. Solitude And Nature



                I took this photo in Nachchaduva tank in the raining evening. In the foreground, there is a weathered, leafless tree, its twisted branches reaching out against a backdrop of a cloudy sky. The tree is situated atop a stone embankment dividing the placid waters of the tank right from a dirt road on the left. This rural landscape evokes a sense of stillness and time passing by its overall quiet and contemplative mood.😇


       2. The Beauty Of Rural Tranquility



                Because of its rustic charm, I choose to title this image " The beauty of rural tranquility". The rays of light dance across the verdant fields as the sun sets behind the clouds, creating a peaceful image of the harmony of nature. A serene stream meanders through the verdant fields, providing life and nourishment to the surrounding area. Here, in the midst of nature, tranquilly and beauty collide in the peaceful countryside. 💚


        3.  Peace Of Mind



                In this captivating photograph, of the Ruwanvalisaya, one of the most iconic stupas in Sri Lanka, rises proudly in the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Its gleaming white dome captures the essence of serenity and spiritual peace. Built by king Dutugemunu in 140B.C. This stupa is a symbol of resilience and faith that has endured through centuries. The structure is not only an architectural marvel but also a sacred site for Buddhists worldwide. Visiting Ruwanvalisaya is a journey through history, spirituality and enduring legacy of ancient craftsmanship. 😍


        4. Art Of Waterfall


                A hidden gem in a lush, green valley, Boburu Alla Waterfall cascades gracefully down rocky cliffs, creating a mesmerizing spectacle of nature's beauty. Encircled by dense foliage, the waterfall is a tranquil escape from the bustle of city life. The sound of the water crashing against the rocks is both soothing and invigorating. The waterfall's mist fills the air, refreshing visitors as they take in the serene surroundings. The area is rich in diverse flora and fauna, adding to its natural charm. Sunlight filtering through the trees produces a magical play of light on the water, making the waterfall a perfect spot for photographers. ❄


            5. The Colors Of The Sunset


                I took this photo one evening on my way home from campus for vacation. That moment is really a time that brings happiness to the heart. It's like a meditation. The sky is aflame with orange, pink, and gold tones as the sun sets below the horizon. The sky is painted with a masterpiece as each hue melds into the next. The clouds, resembling flickering embers in a soft fire, capture the last of the light. As day gives way to night, a feeling of peace descends upon the entire planet. The grandeur of the sky above is reflected in the water as the last of the sunshine dances across it. In the waning light of the day, nature murmurs goodnight. This little time serves as a reminder of the beauty found in all conclusions.🌥️

            6. Human Connection With Nature



                I took this picture when we visited Valapane. The image shows a boy standing on a rocky mountaintop under a gloomy sky, with the foreground's blurred twigs and wild grass taking the stage. There is a sense of depth and perspective because of the blurred figure in the backdrop. The photograph has a calm, reflective atmosphere because of the natural surroundings, which allude to distant, possibly mountainous area. Soft natural lighting and muted colors contribute to the image's overall muted tone. 💁

            7. The Beauty Of Simplicity


                This image captures two footprints on the damp sand at beach as a wave is about hit. In order to create a contrast between the moist, textured sand and the foamy, receding water, the shot catches the moment right before the ocean water reaches the footprints. Warm tones reflected off the sand hint that it is early morning. 🌊

Gender stereotypes in Sri Lankan society are shaped by cultural, religious, and historical influences. These stereotypes often assign specific roles, behaviors, and expectations to individuals based on their gender, and they can limit opportunities and reinforce inequality. Women are primarily homemakers In traditional Sri Lankan culture, women are often expected to stay at home, take care of the household, cook, clean, and raise children. This stereotype is deeply rooted in cultural and religious teachings, and it is still prevalent in many rural and urban families. Even when women work, they are often expected to continue managing household responsibilities without support from their husbands. It limits women’s career growth. Analysis of Strange World (2022)

  In Disney's 2022 animated film Strange World , Ethan Clade is portrayed as a 16-year-old biracial teenager who is openly gay. Voiced by Jaboukie Young-White, Ethan's character is depicted as empathetic, bold, and impulsive, typical traits of adolescence. His romantic feelings for his friend Diazo are presented as a natural aspect of his character, seamlessly integrated into the storyline without being the central focus. Strange World differs from this norm by making Ethan’s sexuality clear and transparent. He openly has a crush on Diazo, and his parents are entirely supportive. Ethan’s queerness is an integral part of who he is and does not form the main conflict of the movie.
